Uniform Policy
Mount
Olive Lutheran School students are required to wear school uniforms
every day except Fridays. The objective of our school uniform program
is to promote a feeling of student unity.
Students
must wear the P.E. uniform on the two days per week their teacher
has designated for P.E. class. On the other two days of the week,
students must choose from the menu of options inside the Campus Club School Uniform brochure. Fridays are free dress
days.
Uniforms
must be ordered from Campus Club at 360-0555, or by fax at 242-2595.
For more information, please call our office.
General Regulations for Dress:
-
All
clothing should be neat and clean, with no obvious fraying or tears.
-
All
clothing should be sized comfortably. It is not to be worn tight,
excessively short, or excessively large.
-
Students
may not wear hats in class. If students wear jewelry or makeup, it
should not be a source of distraction. Girls may not wear dangling
earrings. Visible body piercing (nose, tongue) is not
acceptable. All students should avoid extreme hairstyles and hair
color must be a natural color. Stickers and buttons are not to be
worn. The school reserves the right to determine whether a student’s
appearance satisfies these guidelines.
-
Beach
shoes, sandals, clogs, or shoes with roller-skate wheels are
unacceptable. Girls may not wear high-heeled shoes.
Free
Dress Days (Fridays only):
All
of the general regulations apply on Fridays. Shirts may not display bare
midriffs or completely bare backs. Modest sleeveless shirts are
acceptable, but shirts with very thin straps are not allowed. If there is
a logo, character, or writing on the clothing, students should think
carefully about whether it is an appropriate reflection of Christian
values.

Regulations for School Uniforms (Monday-Thursday):
-
P.E.
uniforms and athletic shoes are required on P.E. days. A full P.E.
uniform consists of P.E. attire only.
-
Dress
shoes or clean athletic shoes are acceptable choices to wear with
school uniforms. Students should wear socks which coordinate with the
uniform.
-
Students
wearing any style of uniform pants, except girls’ capri pants, must tuck in their shirts and wear
a solid-colored navy, brown, or black belt.
-
Students
are not required to tuck in shirts when wearing shorts or the P.E.
uniform sweatpants. A belt is optional when the student is wearing
shorts.

Students
may wear the school sweatshirt with logo (not the P.E. uniform
